My first day of the week normally starts on a Tuesday since I always have weekend hangovers on Monday. I'm thankful that it turned out to be a great one when Posh Nails-Marikina invited us for a pampering treat last Tuesday, May 15.

Oh well, by this time, we already know who have won this season of American Idol. A lot of disappointments aired in all social media sites especially for us Filipinos, we believed that Jessica Sanchez should have won. It was indeed heartbreaking for everyone, a depressing Thursday for millions of Jessica fans all over the world.

I kind of was feeling light though, because I've already half-accepted that it could be Philip Philips. It's pretty obvious, no matter how huge we campaign for Jessica, our numbers were no match compare to US peeps. Nevertheless, I strongly believe that Jessica's career will skyrocket high...higher than Philips perhaps hehe.

It turned out to be a worthy Friday trip down north despite the unexpected heavy rain pour. I've appreciated for the first time the long walks I have to bear from the MRT north station to SM North - The Block, as I've waited for the rain to calm down a little bit. My first time also to discover the walk bridge from Trinoma to SM North Sky Garden, it prevented me from getting wet because I didn’t bring an umbrella.

In celebration of Mother's Day, SM North Edsa brought Jenni Epperson in an afternoon delight to speak and share her celebration of life, motherhood, and as someone who can be every woman’s inspiration.
