GMA 7 remade a successful 90’s drama series; Get to know the New Anna KareNina

In a recent blogcon organized by the GMA Artist Center for the cast of their new prime time show, the remake of AnnaKarenNina, I had the chance to get to know three of the prime teen stars of the kapuso network.

Barbie Forteza, Krystal Reyes and Joyce Ching were chosen to take the lead roles previously portrayed by then popular teen actresses Sunshine Dizon, Kim delos Santos and Antonette Taus.  To keep up with the public’s high expectation after the success of the original show is quite hard says the three teen stars, however, they vowed to do their best to give new flavors to the remade story and hopefully give justice to the roles they were entrusted to.

SM Science Discovery Center partners with Vitapops for Inventor’s Lab

The Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center in partnership with Vitapops – Unilab’s first and only pop rock vitamins for kids – recognizes the need to develop a specialized area that would promote ingenuity and creativity thus the creation of the Inventor’s Lab, which was recently launched in a pop-rock-themed party last May 28 at the South Pavilion of the SM Mall of Asia.  This partnership aims to gear up kids up for a full childhood experience where they get to experience where they get to experiment and discover the fun wonders of science through this collaborative campaign.  It would also accentuate the parents’ role in ensuring that their kids are 100% healthy and protected.

“The Science Discovery Center has always been at the forefront of edu-tainment.  We firmly believe that learning occurs when you provide children with an enjoyable atmosphere in an encouraging and protected environment.  In this exhibit, with the help of our partners at vitapops, we want to create exactly that,” said Arturo Carballo Jr., Senior Operations Manager of the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center.

Groove to a whole new snacking experience with Jack 'n Jill Shake and Roll

Jack 'n Jill is indeed a brand I grew up with when it comes to my favorite snack. We can name a few or more and Jack 'n Jill takes a bigger portion of the pie for Pinoy's most-loved snacks and chips.  Last Thursday, I was privileged to be part of the launch of Jack 'n Jill's newest snack in town - the 'Shake n Roll', held at One Bar in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ortigas.

We were treated to a sumptuous snack and the opportunity to taste the newest snack food offering of Jack 'n Jill.  'Shake and Roll' comes in two Japanese flavors and I personally like the  Unagi Kabayaki variant (red packaging) but mind you, even without the seasoning (powder flavorings), both chips in their original form tastes even better!  I brought home some for my son, nephews and husband and they all craved for more after the tastes haha.

What made the launch more interesting that I went is the creative, fun way of introducing the product as bloggers were made to dance with the newest groove featuring the cool dance steps demonstrating how to enjoy the product even more.  Learn more about the newest snack craze in town from the press release I am sharing here plus get to know the group behind the coolest dance moves that will soon be part of Jack n Jill's new tvc, you should watch out for that!

The incident was reported this morning after some passengers were seen walked out of the train and walked through the tracks in the middle of their travel.  Authorities have cordoned the place to conduct further investigation.
