Julie Anne San Jose Grand Fans Day

Kapuso young diva, Julie Anne San Jose will hold a grand fan's day on July 28, Saturday at the Sky Dome in SM North Edsa.  The fans day will also be the launch of the much-awaited album of this musical princess as a treat to her fans and followers.


Julie Anne earned popularity via her Youtube performance of the Nicki Minaj's "Superbass" with a whooping 14 million plus views to date.  Her team-up with kapuso hearthtrob, Elmo Magalona has also become a hit to a lot of tweens and young-at-hearts today.  The two is best known as "JuliElmo".

Ear Candling at Elite Nails Spa

Ear Candling is the first of my two-part pampering series at Elite Nails Spa this week. I've heard of this procedure before but I was reluctant to try. I'm actually not comfortable with the idea of inserting any objects except from the cotton buds I got used to, inside my ears. But when Elite Nails Spa owner, Joie, offered me to try their Ear Candling service, after confirming from their staff if the procedure doesn't really hurt, I decided to give it a try.

The procedure, they said would often last up to 15 minutes per ear. We got started, the preparation of things needed are just short, I saw they had a paper plate with a hole in the middle, a cone-shaped paper wax or probably a linen but the texture feels hard because of the wax maybe, a lighter, water and oil. 

I was asked to lie on my side then the candle (paper wax) is then inserted in the paper hole and placed on top of my ear. Make sure that the bottom end of the candle is properly positioned in the ear canal opening since the staff won’t be able to determine it, it may hurt the customer if they push hard. See below photo for illustration (right middle), then the other staff lit the top end of the wax to begin.

 

"Mundo Man Ay Magunaw" Throws a Tension-Filled Finale

"Mundo Man Ay Magunaw" lead stars Eula Valdes, Empress, Nikki Gil and Ejay Falcon are currently having mixed emotions as their much acclaimed afternoon drama series draws down to it's last two weeks.

While they feel happy because of the show's consistent triumph in the ratings game and the positive feedback they have been receiving from TV viewers, the whole cast are also saddened because they will miss their regular bonding on the set.

According to Eula, they always have wonderful moments during tapings. "My relationship wut my co-actors really became very personal, to the point that we share stories about our own families," Eula said. "The whole cast and even the staff are sensitive to each other's feelings that's why if we're making jokes about each other, nobody gets offended."

For Empress, being part of the "Mundo Man" has been a huge blessing. "I've learned so much from the veteran actors in the show. I think even if I'm not part of 'Mundo Man Ay Magunaw,' I'll still be proud of it because of it's great story and well execution on TV," Empress said.


Meanwhile, Nikki discovered the actress in her even more because of "Mundo Man Ay Magunaw." according to her, I've learned a lot not only about acting but also many aother things about myself. I'm very thankful to be given the chance to work with senior stars in 'Mndo Man' because they've taught me a lot about bein an artist and being a person."

Eja, on the other hand, admitted that he is going to miss playing with is co-actors on the us to work."

As set. We really enjoyed doing this drama series. It's like we're not working because we're always playing and laughing during the set. We've become like a real happy family that is why it's easier for us to work."


As the story of Olivia (Eula), Sheryl (Empress)' and Jenny (Nikki) goes down to it's final week, how will fate bring them back together? Will someone need to risk his/her own life for their family to be finally whole?
