The Nido Fortified
Science Discovery Center in partnership with Vitapops – Unilab’s first and only
pop rock vitamins for kids – recognizes the need to develop a specialized area
that would promote ingenuity and creativity thus the creation of the Inventor’s
Lab, which was recently launched in a pop-rock-themed party last May 28
at the South Pavilion of the SM Mall of Asia.
This partnership aims to gear up kids up for a full childhood experience
where they get to experience where they get to experiment and discover the fun
wonders of science through this collaborative campaign. It would also accentuate the parents’ role in
ensuring that their kids are 100% healthy and protected.
“The Science Discovery Center has always been at the forefront of
edu-tainment. We firmly believe that
learning occurs when you provide children with an enjoyable atmosphere in an
encouraging and protected environment.
In this exhibit, with the help of our partners at vitapops, we want to
create exactly that,” said Arturo Carballo Jr., Senior Operations Manager
of the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center.

including yours truly, took part in a fun and educational activities prepared
for the event. One of which is the opening of the Inventor’s Lab where children
and adults were invited to checkout the colorful nook situated in the South
Pavilion of the mall. The Inventor’s lab is designed not only to educate and
entertain kids; the facility promotes safety as well to give parents and
guardians’ the confidence to leave their kids while they do other errands in
the mall. I personally like the huge puzzle mats and over-sized pillows spread
through the floor of the play area because young and active children will
surely enjoy running around without hazards. At the left side are the neatly
arranged construction toys and some sample creations which left me really
amazed knowing that those were created by children 12 years old below. My own son will surely love the environment
since he loves playing with these kinds of toys that stimulate his mind and
creativity. There are also kinect interactive video games that the kids will
surely enjoy.
After the Inventor’s
lab opening, guests and media partners proceeded to the entertainment hall to
continue with the celebration. Various activities and fun booths were also
available to entertain the kids including the pop rock concert featuring
various musical acts by the group called the ‘Jive’. Kids had so much fun when they were called up
to the stage to sing and dance with the performers. The event was hosted by mom celebrity, Danica
Sotto-Pingris.
